Beckhuis

Portia was unbelievably friendly and sweet, and the breakfast was great. We spent three nights at Beckhuis, and the rooms looked amazing, stylish, and spotless. I can't think of anything negative to say about this guesthouse. Thank you, Portia!

The complimentary drinks in the mini-fridges were such a nice touch, and we enjoyed the good breakfast selection. The foyer gift shop had well-priced local products to take home, too. Beckhuis is right in the centre of Worcester, within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. The property is beautiful, with a well-kept garden and lots of places to relax with family and friends. The tasteful decor made it feel like a premium, thoughtful stay, and my family and I were very well looked after. They felt thoroughly spoiled. Thank you to the staff and managers. We'll definitely book here again if we're in Worcester.

The rooms were beautiful, the staff friendly, and the homemade breads and cake were top quality. Our only issue was the bathroom privacy: some had no doors, and one room had a see-through glass shower and toilet.

Breakfast was all to a high standard, from the food and coffee to the service. Portia greeted and helped us warmly as soon as we came in, which was almost a shock because it was so good. It turned out she was also the person my wife had spoken to when we called ahead to check they were open, and her phone manner had been great too. Management deserves credit for choosing such a warm, vibrant, professional person to welcome guests. My wife and I stopped on our way back to Cape Town from Montagu. We'll return and recommend Beckhuis to our friends.
