The Habit Self Catering

We arrived to find the room already heated, which was especially welcome in the cold. It was clean, everything worked, and it had what we needed for a comfortable night’s sleep. We woke rested and refreshed, and the staff were very friendly. They also responded promptly and accommodated our requests for luggage and a change of clothes before check-in. That was a real lifesaver. This will always be our go-to place for an overnight stay.

Several families were staying at the property, but everyone had room to enjoy themselves, and the kids made good use of the outdoor facilities. The staff were welcoming and very accommodating. I’ve travelled around the country all year, and this is the best place I’ve stayed by far. Already planning another visit. You won’t be disappointed 😌.

My stay at The Habit Guest House was a very bad experience. We’d booked a week ahead, but the receptionist didn’t know which rooms were assigned to us and helped other guests who arrived after us. Our room had no Wi-Fi, and the floor was dusty. I’d specifically asked for a pork-free breakfast because of my allergy, but after a long wait, the food arrived with pork in it. There was no apology, and I threw up from the allergy. Nobody apologized or checked whether I was okay afterward. I wasn’t happy with my stay and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

They really go the extra mile to tailor things to each guest’s needs. Remarkable people.
