The cleaning staff were lovely and did a great job, and our meal at the restaurant was good. Room service was a different story: the food was inconsistent and orders were often wrong. When the kids ordered ice cream, it took about an hour to arrive, already melted each time. This was our second stay, after a fantastic first visit, but the room situation made this one a bad experience. We arrived on Friday and were told a pipe had leaked in our booked room, so we had to stay elsewhere for one night. The next morning we had to call to ask when we could move. They said the room still needed cleaning and that they would take our luggage when it was ready. We didn't get the room until much later that afternoon, and had to move our own bags. It felt like we'd been lied to, since other guests were in the room we'd booked. We just wanted a relaxing holiday, but we won't be going back.

The margaritas were fantastic and fairly priced, and the view was nice. Service took a little while, though the staff were very friendly. The spot is right in front of the pool, so it may not suit you if you aren't in the mood for activity.

The food was really tasty, the menu was reasonably priced, and service was good. I visited ANEW Hotel with my colleagues for our year-end function. It's a beautiful place, especially if you enjoy taking photos, and a lovely spot to relax and eat. I'd definitely recommend it.

We didn't want to leave. The pool was divine, and everyone from reception and the cleaners to the waiters and manager gave amazing service. It was the best one-night stay we've ever had, and we highly recommend the place. We can't wait to come back, it could become our little home away from home.

The food was the one letdown, though everything else was excellent. The women at the restaurant were friendly and professional. One of the men came across as a bit arrogant on Friday night, 19/12.
