From the dining deck, we could watch elephants, hippos, and crocodiles along the Maramba River. The place is beautiful, and my room had everything I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the riverboat was comfortable and well equipped. The captains shared some really unique facts about the wildlife. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

The views are amazing, and the staff are lovely. Come around 10-11am for elephants, or at 7pm for hippos. Crocodiles are in the river all day. As a British person, I can say the traditional fish and chips were among the top five I've ever had 😂. Great prices too. Definitely come if you get the chance.

The rooms were full of bugs, everything was dirty, and the bathrooms were in horrible shape. Broken doors felt unsafe, and the staff were completely unhelpful and didn't seem to care. This hotel was absolutely disgusting, a total nightmare. Do NOT stay here.

We stayed in luxury tent no2, with a comfortable, clean room overlooking the river and its own jacuzzi. From my bedroom I spotted a crocodile in the river and elephants across it. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and every staff member was friendly, accommodating, and helpful as soon as we checked in. It's a stunning hotel, with a playground that has plenty to keep kids entertained. Victoria falls is a stone throw away, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset cruise on the river. Thank you to everyone at Maramba, especially Theresa the manager and Victor Monde, our waiter, you guys are superb. I'd definitely go back to Maramba river lodge. I would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

The river tour was amazing, and I highly recommend it. The restaurant food is great, but the wait after ordering was over an hour. That threw off our travel plans, and some of our group had to leave without eating.
