The people in the village of Livingstone were amazing, and I’d come back to the lodge just to see the lovely staff and people I met. I really enjoyed chatting with the locals and trying the local food at lunch and dinner. The French manager also suggested a place with a beautiful sunset over the Zambezi for my last night, when I wanted a change and was dining alone. During my stay, I went on a safari through Mosi-Oa-Tunya park with one of the lodge’s guides. I was the only person on the trip that day, so it cost a little more, but I loved having a private game drive. I ran out of days in Zambia before I could take any more tours. They organize a lot of tours, mostly for French people, though anyone is welcome. The rooms were nice and clean, with mosquito nets around the beds, and I also enjoyed the pool and drinks at the bar. Everyone was incredibly nice.

The garden is beautiful, and the pool is okay. Rooms are simple but clean and sufficient. Breakfast was okay too, though I’d choose somewhere else for other meals. The staff are really nice and help however they can. A very nice place to stay.

I had a restful, enjoyable stay in this beautiful place with its lovely touch of nature. The staff were very accommodating and quick to respond, especially Sylvia, who was a wonderful host. I’d highly recommend it for families.

The garden was gorgeous, with mango trees, and our room was very spacious. We enjoyed the swimming pool and delicious breakfast, and it’s not far from the center. It felt a little expensive, but we had a good time at Kamunjila Lodge and would stay again.

We were traveling with four kids aged 4 to 11, and Kamunjila was a perfect place to begin our trip. It’s a safe, quiet base for exploring the Livingstone region, right in town with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The facilities are basic but very clean and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful.
