Cozy Lodge

The setting is peaceful and easy to reach, and the room is spacious and great. The bathroom is roomy, with both a tub and shower. The internet is weak, though, and the mosquitoes are merciless. I'm sure they have training grounds around here. They can kill.

I asked for a tea set, and the lady brought a kettle and mugs without a tray, carrying them in her hands with her fingers inside the mugs. The original vision for this place seems to have died. It could be beautiful, and it was nicely built with a spacious kitchen, but the owner doesn't seem to care that it's falling apart.

For the price, it's a decent place to lay your head. They could work on a few things, like the rodent problem and basic amenities such as bathroom towels. Credit to them for managing the country's erratic power supply. Solar power might be cheaper for them over the long run.

The rooms are nice and the toilets are clean. Some furniture is a bit old, but the customer service is nice. I feel free WiFi would give the place a facelift. There's no swimming pool, and rooms are usually booked, so I'd advise making an appointment before visiting. Don't count on it for emergencies.
