A good place to stay if you want somewhere quiet. The exterior areas are very clean, and management responds to questions quickly and does what it can to help. Because of the national electricity rationing linked to water levels at the dam, they provide reasonable supplements. It’s also near shopping centres and a good restaurant. I highly recommend it.

I left all my belongings behind and forgot to lock up, but everything was still there just as I’d left it. The security was amazing. Housekeeping came every day and was always on time. The internet was super fast, and the kitchen had the things I needed to quickly make myself something to eat. If I asked for extra towels or wardrobe hangers, someone was always there to help right away. Definitely the best place to stay in Lusaka, and I’d recommend Royal Suites Apartments for a future stay.

We were robbed while asleep, despite there being a security guard. The police said an employee must have been involved, and they also concluded it was most likely one of the employees. The landlord didn’t seem worried at all. Please don’t rent there. There are much better places than the royal suites. The landlord tells you how safe it is, but everything I’ve heard about him since has been bad. Reply to the landlord: Nice try, but only kids were staying with us then. How do you explain the alarm not going off, or the security guard not reacting?

We booked this place for a family trip in November 2022. They advertise a free airport shuttle, but charged us $120 for the pickup and expected another $120 for the drop-off. They also claim to accept Visa and Master card, yet we had to withdraw cash from an ATM to pay. Completely ridiculous. They should be sued for false advertising.
