Having air conditioned rooms now is a big plus for me, and the staff are attentive. The food is decent, so it's a good option for a short stay. The place has changed a lot since my first visit 4 years ago, and I do miss the bar and lounge behind reception. It had a good vibe. I wish the pool were heated. It's still very good for swimming laps or taking a plunge and relaxing, but you need warm weather to really enjoy it.

I was lucky to get the last room, the President Suite, and the reception staff were very helpful. I'd suggest calling ahead so you don't miss out. For such a prestigious room, I expected some coffee powder and creamer, and the plugs and shower need attention. I also couldn't get the separate WiFi to work.

The staff are excellent, and I've stayed in both the economy and more expensive rooms. They were both nice and clean, with calm, airy surroundings. I especially like the big, deep pool, which is usually uncrowded. The food is generally good, though nothing special. Breakfast was the letdown. The complimentary continental option was pathetic, worse than what I can make at home. Even the full English breakfast I paid for was mediocre. That's why I gave a 4. Please improve the food and food service.

Getting around was easy from this convenient location, with the CBD, airport, and malls all close by. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I enjoyed my stay, and it's a good place overall.
