The drive to the lodge is the one rough part, the road is in really bad shape. Once you're there, though, the views of Lake Kariba are breathtaking. We enjoyed the friendly, helpful staff, and you can watch the sunset from the bar with a drink or relax by the pool. A beautiful spot for a holiday or even just an overnight stay. I'd definitely recommend it.

There are several sandy beaches close by, and this lodge sits in a special spot on the banks of the huge Lake Kariba. A real gem in Binga.

The drive from Harare is long, but it was worth it, and we'd happily come back soon. We had a great time at the beach, and TwoYears, our guide for the Binga tour, was friendly and explained everything we wanted to know about Binga in detail. The lodge is beautifully placed along the riverbank, with spectacular views. Its surroundings feel as natural as possible and are well looked after. We saw rock rabbits, squirrels, and monkeys all around. The rooms were clean, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the food was great.

Getting there takes some effort. The terrain calls for an off-road or all-wheel-drive vehicle, and the road isn't too bad, but it could be daunting for some. Once you arrive, it's a great place to unwind, with friendly staff and excellent service.

Quiet and peaceful, away from the city noise, with Lake Kariba in view and birds calling all around. The heat in Binga is worth watching out for, but the rooms had great air conditioning, so everything was fab. I'd visit again.
