The outdoor area is pretty, but there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. Service has more of a Victorian feel, and there isn’t a bed and breakfast option, can you imagine?

The garden is beautifully kept and the pool stays clean. Even though it’s near a busy road, it’s really quiet and clean. 12 Fleetwood is my usual place to stay in Harare, and I’ll keep coming back.

It feels peaceful and homely, even though the hotel is a bit far from the city. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are consistently friendly and keen to help. My stay was good, though I couldn’t get hot water in the morning.

We were there for work and didn’t want to leave. The gardens feel magical, the pool was clean and sparkly, and the staff were so warm and kind. A real gem, highly recommended.

The house has the feel of a little museum, with references to early British presence in Zimbabwe. The neighborhood is lovely, service was good, and the rooms were nice. We enjoyed the continental breakfast too. Ask about the commission when booking, as it surprised us. Credit card payments also incur a 5% charge on the total.
