Victoria Falls Safari Club

The room made an immediate impression, with its spacious, clean, well-presented feel and breathtaking view over a waterhole that wildlife often visited. There were moths and insects inside, as you might expect in a wildlife area, but the provided mosquito net helped. This was our first stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe. On arrival, the concierge couldn’t find our fully paid, confirmed booking in the system. Even after we showed the confirmation several times, it took over an hour to sort out. The staff stayed exceptionally polite, courteous, and professional throughout, which we truly appreciated. Despite that initial setback, we were happy with our stay and enjoyed the lodge’s unique experience.

The view is magnificent, especially at sunset, which really shows off Africa’s beauty. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the restaurant had a good variety. It was good value for money, with vulture feeding on site every day. The location also made it easy to get to activities in Victoria Falls.

The view over the watering hole was hard to beat, and the food was immaculate. The resort and its amenities were incredible, and the staff were wonderful. We were new to Africa and this kind of hotel, and could have used a little overview of how activities worked and which ones were connected to the hotel versus separate. The hotel staff were helpful with our itinerary and accommodations or recommendations, and stayed friendly and ready to help. Their correspondence in the months before our trip was timely too. It’s pricey, but they do take care of you. It was our first time in Victoria Falls, and the place was perfect. We had amazing views of the watering hole from our room and the restaurant, and got close to it at the Sidhuli hide. The food was good, the cocktails well made but on the pricey side, and the internet very reliable. Our room was clean and well kept. We did find mosquitos inside the net at night, so be mindful to close it all the way. I loved the Vulture feed and its conservation goals for helping the birds. Thank you for everything, I’d recommend it.
