Zambezi Sands is in a stunning spot, and the decor and attention to detail are incredible. It’s one of the best appointed properties I’ve stayed at. The staff were all so friendly, and the safari guides were outstanding. Whether you want to relax or head out on an adventure, it has both. Highly recommend.

We had the lodge to ourselves and felt really lucky to be looked after so well. The team went out of their way with the service, and the place is cosy, chic, and beautifully designed, right on the stunning Zambezi river. We loved the sunrise and sunset cruises, game drives, and delicious meals every day. What a dream stay at Zambezi Sands. Thank you all, we’ll keep fond memories of this place!

I was there for a very special reunion, so I’d have had a great time anyway, but Zambezi Sands made it even better. I loved the views of the Majestic Zambezi River, the beautiful rooms and especially the luxurious bathrooms, plus the plunge pool. The service from all the staff, game rangers included, was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you, Zambezi Sands.

The game drives and walks came with very knowledgeable guides who shared lots of interesting facts about the bush. The setting of Bakota Zambezi Sands is stunning, with meals and exotic cocktails served on a deck by the Zambezi and beautiful views. Food was delicious, and the modern, luxurious rooms were comfortable with thoughtful details. I especially liked the outdoor shower. I had a wonderful holiday, and as the staff said when we arrived, we came as guests and left as family.

We spent two nights here with a big group of friends for our high school reunion, and the full moon made the stay feel especially memorable. The place is beautiful and luxurious, with exciting game drives and out-of-this-world service. I loved being right by the stunning Zambezi River and getting to experience the tranquility and beauty of the Zimbabwe bush. I’ll treasure this experience for a long time.
