Hotel Bonavida

The location is excellent, but the hotel is too expensive for what it provides, and there are better options at the same price. The building feels old, even though the bathroom has been renovated. Noise was a major issue because housekeeping started at 8 a.m., speaking loudly in the hallway and banging other guests' doors. With such poor soundproofing, everything could be heard. Breakfast was only average too. Apart from the fruit, most of it seemed industrial rather than fresh or natural. The eggs were sometimes not fresh, the coffee machine broke several times, and the coffee was often cold. I would not choose this place again if I returned to Andorra.

Even though my stay was very short, everything was amazing. The room was comfortable and very clean, and every receptionist was kind and helpful. Antonella, the balconist, was especially friendly. I definitely plan to come back in winter and would highly recommend this hotel.

Dinner was the highlight, with a different menu each evening and very elegant service. I also found the lobby welcoming and cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The room, however, felt somewhat small and cold. The jacuzzi seemed to have too much chlorine, and the sauna did not have enough water for adding humidity. Getting to the ski booths after a full day on the slopes was awkward because of the narrow stairs, especially in ski boots. That is why I gave four stars.

This is a very convenient place for skiing, right by the ski lift. Breakfast and dinner were both good, and the staff were helpful. Everything worked well for our stay.
