We’ve lived at the residence for an extended period, and most of my experience has been positive. The greenery, lagoon, large pools, and friendliness of most staff are why we chose it. Pools can get very crowded on weekends, but I’ve generally been happy with the property and service. Still, one incident recently upset me badly and damaged the comfort and security I should feel in my own home. Residents have parking gate access cards. Mine sometimes fails, and security has always helped by checking my residency and opening the gate. At about 2:30 AM, after dinner, the card failed again. We waited, then politely honked to get security’s attention. A guard named Osman eventually came over in an aggressive, confrontational way. He didn’t verify that we lived there or help us. Instead, he shouted, accused us of damaging property, and repeatedly refused to open the gate. He said we would never be allowed back in and that he’d tell other security staff not to help us. It became intimidating for no good reason. As a long-term resident, I was shocked by the lack of courtesy, professionalism, and hospitality. One bad encounter doesn’t erase the many good experiences I’ve had at Anantara, but management and the security supervisors should investigate and provide further training if needed. No resident should feel threatened, intimidated, or unwelcome just trying to enter where they live. I sincerely hope this is taken seriously and addressed.

After the long flight from Glasgow to Dubai, I got in at about 0200 local time and slept until 1000. The buffet breakfast was superb, then I went back to bed to catch up on more rest.

Mr/Mohit made check-in really smooth. He was kind, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The apartment Manzil company booked for me at Anantara south residences 1 was awesome, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. I’d definitely stay here with Manzil company again.

Avoid this place. We booked Aparment 606 South Residences through booking.com as a 110m2 apartment for my family, but it was dirty, torn, around 20m2 smaller than advertised, and nothing like the pictures. The person “managing” it said he wasn’t responsible for complaints, so I asked to speak to someone in charge right away. I could only reach GUESTA customer service, which sent automated replies saying our dates weren’t flexible. booking.com gave me the same answers and told me to cooperate and not threaten them after I said I would leave bad reviews. Two days later a cleaning company came and turned the apartment upside down. When we got back with our kids, everything was wet and smelled strongly of disinfectant, just as we were about to go to sleep. I asked for a refund for the remaining days so we could leave, but they refused, offered no compensation, and basically ignored me. GUESTA customer service rents the apartments but provides no service and hides behind the phone. I spent hours of my vacation trying to sort this out. It put us in a bad mood and left my family sad. It wasn’t worth staying here.
