City Stay Inn Hotel Apartment

The service was poor and frustrating, and we still had one night left when I wrote this. Room cleaning was requested at noon, but it had not happened by 6:30 PM. The floors and furniture were dirty, and we had to remind staff four times before getting drinking water. The swimming pool was also not working. We learned this only after arriving and were then asked to use the pool at another property. That should have been clearly communicated before check-in. We expected better standards and basic hospitality.

The location is a strong point, right behind Mall of the Emirates and close to the metro, shops, and restaurants. The spacious apartments have multiple bathrooms, which suits families, and the rates feel good for the size and location. Gym, pool, Wi-Fi, and parking are available. Reception staff were generally helpful and polite. Some things need attention: appliances and furniture could be maintained better, and housekeeping was acceptable but inconsistent. Service quality varied by shift, and rooms facing the street may get traffic noise. A practical option for families or longer stays, with good value despite those drawbacks.

Bites started appearing on our bodies as soon as we moved in. At first we thought they might be from a mosquito, but after weeks of this we asked the hotel to inspect the bed, especially the mattress, because we only slept there and had never had bites before in our 25 years of life. At first the hotel did not take us seriously and said, "no one ever complained." We kept sending photos as our skin got worse and worse. I went to Aster clinic and paid almost 1.000 aed for medical exams and a consultation. The treatments did not help for long because the problem seemed to come from the mattress or the hotel itself. We kept complaining, but then dom did not answer anymore. At reception they said, "yes yes we will tell our manager," but that never happened. Now my skin is peeling and extremely painful, with more and more itchy bites all over my body. It feels like it is eating me alive. There were also many broken or nonworking things in the flat, along with dust and mold. DO NOT GO THERE. This is unacceptable, for your own safety and health.

Being right next to Mall of the Emirates is a huge plus. City Stay Prime Hotel Apartment has spacious, comfortable rooms, and I had a very nice stay. Highly recommended!
