Holiday Inn Dubai Village Circle Hotel

We were stranded and had to extend our stay unexpectedly when the airspace closed during a military conflict. These circumstances were beyond our control, and we hoped the hotel could offer even basic guidance or support. Instead, staff gave us no information or help about whether our stay might be covered under the force majeure circumstances. We had to search for DET contact emails ourselves. At reception each morning, guests were visibly confused and tense, trying to understand what was happening and what options they had. The hotel added to that stress by calling our room daily to demand payment for the extra nights and trying to charge the regular nightly rate, as though we had chosen to extend a vacation. A hotel should show understanding when guests are stranded in circumstances like these. We found none here. It was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.

The room was comfortable, and the manager, Kristen -she’s Egyptian-, was especially helpful, professional, kind, and classy. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We spent two nights here with my cousin and had an amazing time. The hotel has a relaxing, classy restaurant, a cozy café by the ground-floor entrance, massage services, a pool, and a gym. For a 3-star hotel, it honestly feels like 5 stars! ♥️

The pool was peaceful and lovely, with good music, and the first-floor restaurant was a treat. My chicken shish taouk was perfectly served and truly delicious. The whole hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and smells amazing. Our 15th-floor room was quiet, clean, and well maintained. I had nothing to complain about. We booked through booking, which was easy and safe, and paid directly at reception. The welcome was perfect: someone helped with our luggage and showed us to the room. Special mention to Jordan at reception, who was incredibly kind and professional. It’s where you realize that 3 stars in Dubai are on another level. Such a shame we stayed only one night, but we’ll definitely consider coming back!

Abdelrahman at reception was so friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We stayed three days and two nights with a friend and really enjoyed it. One in-room dining staff member, whose name I’ve forgotten, was very nice and helpful. It was disappointing, though, that our calls to in-room dining went unanswered on the next two days. Still, we had a very pleasant stay.
