My first room faced a construction site, and I was really unhappy with it. I spoke to Ashutosh at Reception, and after just a two-minute conversation he turned things around. He and the team at Taj JLT gave us wonderful service, with thoughtful little touches and real attention to detail. It made our holiday special and memorable. Ashutosh gets 20/10 from me, and future Dubai stays will be at Taj JLT. I hope everyone there is safe and well.

We ended up booking another hotel at our own expense after spending nearly two hours in the lobby with no solution. We had reserved two rooms through MakeMyTrip almost three weeks ahead, and the reservation still showed as confirmed, but Taj JLT said it had never come through or had been rejected by its system. The hotel blamed MakeMyTrip, while MakeMyTrip support said the booking was confirmed. We were left to go back and forth between them for hours. The hotel said it was full and offered no temporary fix, alternative place to stay, or courtesy arrangement, even though the mix-up wasn't caused by us. This raises concerns about how the hotel coordinates with third-party booking sites. If Taj JLT won't honor MakeMyTrip bookings, those listings should be managed properly or removed so guests aren't stranded on arrival. Some kind of guest-first response or goodwill arrangement should be standard in this situation. I can't recommend the property based on what happened.

We stayed on Wednesday 27th of May and enjoyed the visit. The staff were all great, especially the receptionist, and the atmosphere felt friendly. We chose a golf-view room and were glad we paid extra for the view. Breakfast could use more options. The pool water was very cold, and its temperature didn't seem to be controlled.

Mr. Amrit at the pool really stood out. He was friendly and professional, and took great care of me and my family while we were swimming. That personal touch made our stay even better. Taj JLT Dubai is beautiful, with elegant interiors, clean rooms, and a relaxing feel. The staff were warm and attentive from check-in through check-out, and we had a wonderful vacation. I’d happily recommend it to people visiting Dubai.

The room felt good the moment we walked in, modern, nicely designed, and really clean. Staff were attentive, and the food was full of flavor and beautifully plated. Easily a 10/10 for me. The location is so convenient that everything feels close, but the hotel still gives you a peaceful view from above the city. We watched the sunrise over JLT, Dubai Marina, JBR, and Burj Al Arab, with Burj Khalifa way off in the distance. Coffee with that view was unreal. The skyline draws you in, but the comfort and care make leaving hard.
