The balcony view may be the best in Berat, at least in my opinion, and the room itself was just right. It was cool, air-conditioned, and easy to sleep in because the shutters kept it dark. Everything in the bathroom was neat and clean, including the great shower. The hosts were fantastic, and even the garden tap gives safe, icy-cold mountain water. The cat is also expecting kittens soon. I really couldn’t recommend this place more.

The family’s personal touch made this stay especially nice. Our room at guesthouse BellaVista was roomy and had a large balcony, while the bathroom, shared with just one other room, was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the garden the next morning and clearly made with care. We could also leave the car in the garage overnight. The approach roads may look worrying, but getting there is worth it, especially for the wonderful view over the town, which is even more striking at night with all the lights.

We really wish we’d had more time here. The hosts were so welcoming that they even helped us get the car up to the accommodation. Everything was comfortable and convenient, and the facilities were great. Breakfast was tasty and served on the green terrace, where there’s also a lovely view. We liked absolutely everything.

The room was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable, but the owners were the real highlight. They washed our laundry, drove us to the bus station, and were helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was the best we had on the entire trip, honestly hard to imagine improving it. For us, this was the best place to stay in Berat.

They even helped us find medical care for an injured dog we had become attached to, which says a lot about how kind the owners are. The hosts were friendly, made us feel at home, and prepared breakfast for us. The rooms were clean, the prices reasonable, and I’d definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you for everything.
