Each room opens onto a balcony with a fantastic view over the city, and there is parking available. The road up is steep enough to test your driving. We visited during very hot weather, above 40 degrees C. There was no AC in the bedrooms, but the hosts provided fans, which helped. The smaller bedroom lacks a wardrobe or storage area, though that may not matter for a short stay. The rooms were clean, and our host shared a lot about Albania’s recent history and what to see around Berat. It’s a good choice for 2-3 nights.

The balcony view was amazing, and the friendly family made the whole two-night stay feel easy. Breakfast came with delicious fresh fruit, and we could wash our clothes there too. We absolutely loved the place and would definitely recommend it.

Our host and his family were warm and welcoming, and the spacious rooms were very clean. From the balcony we could see the mountains, the castle, and the old rustic houses with their huge windows. The host also offers private guided trips, and we joined one to a nearby winery for wine and Raki tasting. We’d recommend both the guesthouse and the tasting. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with it.

The host gave us a lovely welcome and offered us cherries and wine from the village. We enjoyed the beautiful balcony view and the cute rooms. It was a really pleasant stay.

Naku and his family were supportive and welcoming throughout our stay. The house is in the old town and looks across the river toward the old town on the other side, giving it a great view. I highly recommend it.
