This is a beautiful old stone building at the top of the castle, near the central parking area, with only 4 guest rooms. The old wooden doors and similarly vintage locks add a lot of character. The owner runs both the hotel and restaurant and was extremely helpful. His mom and the rest of the family prepare the meals, which were amazing. We normally never eat at the same place twice, but we made an exception here. The local wine was excellent too. I hope you get to experience it.

We only came for lunch, then decided to stay the night, and that turned out to be a great choice. Everyone working there was kind and easy to talk to, and the food was top-notch. The included breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had, with an amazing view from the breakfast room. Parking is very close, which helps with luggage, and even their delicious olive oil comes from their own farms. It was peaceful at night and I highly recommend it.

A cosy little hotel within the castle, with very clean rooms and everything needed despite their small size. The owners were very nice and the food was great. This was one of the best stays of our entire Albania tour, definitely recommended!

We came for dinner and enjoyed everything, from the location right through to the desserts. The place felt warm and welcoming, almost like a family-run business. The waitress was friendly, answered all my questions, and happily accommodated our food restrictions. She was always smiling and brought such good energy, including when she spoke with the other guests.

Staying inside the castle walls was such a treat, and parking inside the castle was easy too. We approached from the North and simply drove through the castle gates. The owners made us feel very welcome, while our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, and we’d 100% stay here again if we return.
