The hotel is small and simple, but we felt welcome. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was awesome, and the man working there was so kind. The city and beaches are nearby, though the hotel is uphill.

Getting back late one evening without having eaten, I was glad the owner made me toast and jam to tide me over. He’s gracious and goes out of his way to make you welcome and comfortable. It’s a bit of a climb uphill from the city center, but worth it for the great sea and sunset views.

Good location, with a nice room and air con. Breakfast was great, with fresh bakery options and coffee. The main man at reception speaks fantastic English and is really helpful and hardworking.

After the host realized we were a couple, he quickly stopped responding to my messages. I left a bad review about the behavior, and soon afterward he privately threatened me to take it down. So here's my response. Thanks for pushing me to do something I wasn't going to do.

It’s a family-owned hotel with super friendly staff and private parking for four cars. If you don’t have a car, keep in mind it’s at the top of a hill and there’s a lot of uphill walking.
