Vogue Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed our stay overall. The room was great, everything was very clean, and there was free parking and a private beach. The staff were polite and friendly, and when a few small room problems came up, they fixed them quickly. Breakfast was the one thing I would change, since it was the same every morning and could use some variation. We'd recommend this place.

They took my information and ID, confirmed the booking, and then a dishonest boy called to say the room was unavailable before blocking my WhatsApp number. This was completely unprofessional. It feels like a farmer running a hotel, so stay away unless you want to be left in the streets of Radhime.

The private beach with its sunbeds made the location especially convenient, and our little balcony was useful for drying clothes. Inside, the room felt very modern and the bathroom was amazing. Breakfast was decent, though it wasn't our favourite.

This place has potential, but the service needs work and the word “boutique” seems to be doing too much of the work. Our room was small, and when we arrived the toilet had no seat and the room smelled of rotten eggs. We reported both problems straight away. We were told the seat had broken a few days earlier and that a replacement had been ordered, while the source of the smell was unknown. When we asked about changing rooms, the owner (?) went to check, although it wasn't clear with whom, then disappeared for quite a while. We eventually found out he was at the beach. By the time he returned, we had decided to keep the room and get on with our day. Nothing was offered to make up for the problems, so I asked for a drink on the house. They had a rooftop bar, but whenever we visited in the evening, there was nobody there to serve us. Breakfast was another issue. It was very fatty, and by the third day we were thinking about skipping it and eating elsewhere. The available filter coffee came in tiny, shot-sized paper cups, so during the first few mornings we ordered cappuccinos or espressi instead. On our final day, the owner (?) told us those drinks cost extra. The other staff hadn't said that before. Since we still hadn't received the promised drink for the toilet seat and smell, I said we wouldn't pay for them. He accepted that, but never brought the cappuccinos and pointed me back to the complimentary watery filter coffee in the paper cups. A boutique hotel needs more than somewhat fancy modern furniture. The room and concept could be promising, but the service and communication need a definite improvement.
