Ambassador Resort

The beach was dirty and poorly maintained, and the food arrived cold and tasted awful. Things were no better in the room, where the bathroom smelled terrible and the shower water was yellow with a strange taste. I also heard many other guests complaining about the conditions. I can’t understand how this is rated four stars, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

At 100 euros a night, I expected much better than stained sheets and a bathroom that didn’t work. Garbage left outside created a smell that reached the room, and nothing felt clean. Even asking for a towel brought an attitude from the staff. This was easily the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed.

The room’s view was incredible, and the waiters were genuinely polite and welcoming in both the restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, the bathroom was extremely unhygienic, with corroded parts, including the handles, plus a bad smell. I tried not to touch anything in there. It’s also a very family-oriented place with lots of children, so a quiet holiday with your boyfriend may be interrupted by noise. For the price, it mostly isn’t worth it, since Albania has newer, better rooms for less. Owners, please remove the stars and don’t mislead people.

The sea view room, fresh food, and wonderful staff made this my best experience in Albania. Kasi and his staff deserve a special thank you, you were amazing. For me, this is easily the best hotel in Shengjin, and I’ll definitely be back.
