Rozafa Hotel

The hotel was clean and very nice, and the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. We arrived a little late for breakfast, but Head Chef Tony kindly arranged food for our table. He was polite and friendly. As someone of another nationality, I really appreciated the kindness and respect. Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly and respectful, which was the best part of the stay. We spent one night there and had to switch rooms because the air conditioner was broken, but the second room had the same problem. It was so hot we left the balcony door open despite the loud street, and our baby had a fever, so we took off all his clothes for the night. We got only a 20% discount for the issue.

The food was excellent and good value, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Our order took a little longer because a guest dining event was happening at the same time, which they explained without us having to ask. They brought us a complimentary plate of fruit while we waited, a thoughtful gesture that made the delay feel like a nice interaction. We popped into the hotel restaurant for a meal and were pleasantly surprised. I'd happily return and recommend it.

The staff were organized and pleasant, but that couldn't make up for the rest. The bathroom smelled awful, and the room accessories seemed to have been forgotten. The buffet food was terrible, and I wondered what impression it would give tourists of local cuisine. I doubt management has tried the restaurant food themselves. It doesn't feel like a four-star hotel at all, more like two stars. A very disappointing stay. Management needs to do much more for customers.
