We were meant to stay five people, but the replacement apartment was only suitable for three and had no towels or toilet paper. We also couldn’t fit in the beds. Before that, the host was unreachable until 11 pm, when he changed our apartment at the last minute. Then he arrived at 5 am demanding cash, even though we had said we would pay the next day, and behaved rudely. Later, I learned he had claimed we never moved in, apparently trying to scam us and Booking.com. The service was appalling, and I’m sharing this so others don’t go through the same thing.
