The breakfast spread of Albanian favorites was first rate. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the place is just a few minutes from the main square and the Opera House. A hidden gem!

The room was clean, and the shower room was easy to use. Everyone on staff was very kind, and breakfast was delicious, with hot dishes included. It’s also easy to get to from the square and the airport bus stops.

The staff were arrogant, and the amount we were charged at the end didn’t match the price we had discussed over the phone. Breakfast also wasn’t fresh. In the room, there was no natural light because the view was blocked, and it was too hot since the air conditioner didn’t work properly. The shower kept switching between hot and cold, so trying to get a normal temperature could leave you burned or freezing. After that experience, we really don’t recommend this hotel. Be careful.

Hotel Austria made a great impression from the start. Ms. Drita and Mr. Gjergjji were especially welcoming and helpful, doing everything they could to make the stay comfortable. The hotel is right in the city center, which made getting around easy, and my room was clean, tidy, and quiet enough for a peaceful night. The service and overall quality were fantastic. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel in the heart of the city.
