Doro City Hotel

The rooms felt very old, and it was freezing at night because the windows were so old they barely seemed like real windows and wouldn’t close properly. The bathroom was blocked, the internet was weak, and although I paid for parking, I wasn’t allowed to use it. The receptionist, who seemed to be everywhere, was rude and arrogant. A very bad stay.

The location was peaceful, away from the busy area but still close to everything. The room was comfortable and quiet, with great water pressure. The decor was older but well cared for, and there was a modern bar and coffee shop. Breakfast was excellent, though probably nice by European standards. I loved the cheeses, and the staff were really nice. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I absolutely loved it.

The service was really good, and there’s parking. The restaurant was good too, and so was the coffee. It’s about a 10-minute walk to central Tirana. Most of the staff speak Greek, and Olsi was especially kind and a really good guy.

The hosts made me feel at home with their kindness and warm hospitality. They went above and beyond, and every detail seemed thoughtfully arranged. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. I had an incredible stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, cared-for, memorable visit.
