Hotel Select

We paid €35 when we arrived around 19:00, even though we had no reservation and the booking price was €32. The bigger problem was that there was no water in the room at all. It was 36 degrees outside, and we couldn't take a shower. I really don't recommend this place.

The room and toilet smelled bad, and I don't think they had been cleaned. The sink and shower were broken, too. Breakfast was just a small serving of bread, olives, butter, sausages, cheese, and egg. It was cold and came on plates that weren't very clean. Then, on the day we were supposed to check out, the receptionist came to our room and demanded €5. He wouldn't let us do anything without paying. We're not people who like conflict, and we just wanted the situation to end, but it ruined our vacation. I don't recommend staying here. I found no positives.

They have secure underground parking, and the room was cozy. The receptionist was really friendly, helped with our luggage and parking, and even turned on the air conditioner before we arrived as a kind gesture on an extremely hot, sunny day. The hotel was clean and the Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was excellent and a generous portion. I'd gladly return to Tirana and stay here again.

We liked this adorable boutique hotel so much that we booked it again for the last three nights of our Albanian trip. The staff are lovely and really go out of their way to help. The coffee house downstairs is a relaxing spot, with fresh juices and delicious specialty coffee drinks. It's not far from the city block center.
