Buddha House Hotel and Cocktail Bar

The peaceful atmosphere and lovely room design made Buddha House Hotel feel true to its name. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to reach local attractions while still feeling quiet enough for a relaxing break. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive and so friendly that I felt at home. I highly recommend Buddha House Hotel in Vlora. It made my trip memorable.

The decor is beautiful, and the place feels roomy, especially the bathroom. The beds were really comfortable, too. It’s in a great part of the old town, and everything was very clean, though the style is a little minimalist. Breakfast had fresh pastries, charcuterie, and salad. I’d stay again.

The owner was such a sweetheart, and he even feeds the stray cats around the hotel. He was happy to chat, welcomed us with a free coffee before check-in, showed us our room himself, and explained the building’s history. It’s 200 years old, with the original floors and ceiling panels still there. The place is minimalist in a good way, with real wood everywhere, even the eco-friendly breakfast bowls. We’d booked a garden room, but because of construction behind it, he didn’t want to put guests there if another room was available. He upgraded us for free to a balcony room instead, and that balcony was so nice. We had drinks in the evening, which were delicious, and a free Jägermeister shot with coffee was something new for us. Breakfast was okay, and the Turkish coffee was really good, as you’d expect from an owner from Turkey. This is a real gem in Vlore. Next time we come, we won’t consider anywhere else. I hope the hotel is full every day, especially once the airport in Vlore opens. Wishing them all the best, it exceeded our expectations!

The cocktails were excellent, and the atmosphere was both lively and relaxing when I visited Buddha Cocktail Bar. It’s a new place, but already feels like a hidden gem in the city. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re nearby.
