I spent three weeks at Selina Guest House, and Tamara and her father Samson made me feel warmly welcome. It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a lovely garden and a kitchen for preparing simple meals. Set behind the old church of St. Hovhannes in the heart of Byurakan, it was just right for getting away from the city for a few days or, as in my case, a few weeks. The beautiful churches, spectacular observatory, and surrounding nature make Byurakan well worth visiting. You can get there easily from Yerevan by bus or taxi. I highly recommend staying here!

Our daughter was ill, so we needed somewhere she could rest while the others went hiking. The owner kindly helped us by providing a room and taking good care of her. Very helpful owner and a lovely room.
