I stayed November 11-14, 2022, and there were only three guests in the hotel at the time. It wasn't very clean, but the staff were kind and warm. The cable car, zip-line, and some well-known monasteries are close by, so it's a handy place for tourists. Water was available without limit, though there was no kettle in the room. Don't hesitate to ask them to turn on the water heater or get a hair dryer, the staff are kind ❤️

Breakfast and dinner came as a buffet with a decent selection, and the rooms were okay. The drive from Yerevan Airport takes about 1 hour 20 minutes. Wi-Fi was weak in some rooms.

The location is amazing, and breakfast was good, but the place is showing its age. The rooms smelled, and the bathrooms were quite old. For the premium price they charge, it isn't worth it.

The property is well built and sits in an amazing location, but the staff were frustrating. They didn't know English and seemed unwilling to understand when we asked questions or raised concerns, often just ignoring us. Breakfast was another problem. There were only about 6-7 items, with no vegetarian choices or cereal, and even milk wasn't available. If circumstances mean you have to stay here, plan to sort out your own food, including breakfast.

At the end of autumn, in the last week of October 2022, we stayed in a heated, comfortable room. We could hear birds and a little mountain stream nearby. It's a convenient base for the Tsaghkadzor ropeway, about a five-minute walk, as well as the city park, zip line, and Kecharis monastery. There are restaurants within 1-2 km, including Karas and Rico Mexican, plus a wine store.
