Ani Grand Hotel

There are plenty of shops and restaurants just minutes away, along with Vermissage market. It’s a very good four-star hotel in the city center, and the breakfast was much better than I’d expect from a similarly rated place.

We were happy with the accommodation during our five-night, six-day stay. The hotel is large, well maintained, and centrally located. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the polite, professional receptionist at check-in arranged the higher floor we requested. One male receptionist, whose name we don’t know, was rude and unhelpful, and spoke in an unprofessional way. That lack of customer service affected our experience. The stay was good overall, but management should work on professionalism at reception.

The location is amazing, and I really liked the breakfast. Most of the staff were okay, especially the kitchen team, but reception wasn’t great. At first they gave us a room without AC, and it was extremely hot, though they fixed it later. The receptionists weren’t very kind to people who had traveled from abroad and needed some rest. I liked the location, but not the service, and wouldn’t recommend it for a holiday. It’s more like a three-star hotel than a four-star one.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, thanks to Food and Beverage manager Mr. Garik. Ms. Narine was very attentive in the restaurant, and Ms. Elisa was attentive at the front desk too.
