The balcony is a lovely spot for breakfast, with a view of apricot trees and the river, and Emma's cooking is delicious. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms are shared. It's an affordable, convenient guesthouse for a stay in Yerevan, about 10min from the subway station that goes to republic square. I'd definitely recommend it.

Stephan, an informative hiking instructor, runs the hostel with his mother Emma, who makes wonderful breakfasts. It's a clean, homey, relaxed place and works really well for our customers.

Emma and Stepan made us feel right at home in Yerevan. Breakfast has a great range each day, and we loved sitting on the balcony looking out toward the mountains, over the family's lush garden and the gorge, with the river below. The guesthouse is peaceful, comfortable, and cozy. It's an easy three metro stops to the city centre, and the neighbourhood has supermarkets and an ATM nearby. The owners were helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended.

I spent so many lovely hours reading in a hammock in the amazing garden. It's a very clean, family-run hostel, and the breakfasts were the best part!

The owners were really nice and helpful, and the place was clean and peaceful. We had a very nice stay at Balcony, with all the amenities we needed. The washing machine was free to use.
