La Zingara

It's a gorgeous, peaceful spot for a few days. The cabins are clean, nicely equipped, and have what you need to enjoy your stay. And that little balcony is a 10/10! Oscar was incredibly kind. My bus got in at 8 am, and he let me into the cabin then; when I left, he also let me wait there for my bus. I really appreciated how flexible and helpful he was. I'd absolutely recommend it and hope I can return! 🤞🏻

We arrived to find everything clean and the heaters already on, which made the cabins nice and warm. They're modest, rustic Alpine cottages, but well maintained, with friendly service and a cozy feel. The price was very reasonable. We couldn't see what the negative reviews were about; they seemed to come from people with very high expectations for an affordable place who just wanted to complain. Definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at Zingara 3 in Saldungaray, a quiet, comfortable cabin for 3 or 4. Upstairs there's a very comfortable double bed, and downstairs a two-piece futon. The heating is great, and everything was ready when we arrived, with clean sheets and towels and the key left for us. The kitchen has a one-burner stove, electric kettle, pots and cutlery for cooking, dishes, a small fridge, and a microwave. We got in touch through Google and WhatsApp and were treated very well. I don't understand the one-star rating I saw, and the price for what you get is great. I'd recommend staying, as long as you're not expecting a five-star hotel.

I was glad to be there for only two nights. The refrigerator didn't work, and when I mentioned it, he just said, "Oh no," without offering a fix. As I was leaving, I asked him to come collect the key. He never showed up, then even questioned whether I'd paid him. I had to leave the key in a storage room.
