Hotel Corbel

The bathroom is the big thing here: the shower pressure is excellent and so relaxing that you won't want to get out. The room itself is comfortable overall, with good beds, mattresses that feel new, quality linens, and a spacious closet. The bathroom is narrow and small, with a bathtub, and the toilet is awkward because you're always bumping into things and have to sit sideways. The showerhead is plastic and looks bad, so I'd replace it. The TVs aren't great either, with no Netflix or other streaming apps. Federico at the entrance was incredibly kind, respectful, and friendly. He goes out of his way to help and suggests places to eat based on what you're in the mood for. The other guy, who's bald and whose name I can't remember, is friendly and hardworking too, but some of his responses are awkward. He's never disrespectful, but he can be sarcastic and sometimes subtly mistreat you. You might think it's just your impression at first, but after a few days you see that's just how he is. I stayed 6 days and only ate breakfast at the hotel twice for convenience. It was okay, not bad, but the croissants were average and the difference is really in the quality of the food, not the variety. The coffee was very good and served at a good temperature. Nothing about breakfast would bring me back. The breakfast room is tiny and sometimes you have to wait. The girl working there is friendly and helps when asked, though she isn't very attentive. I had to ask her to clear a table so I could sit down. It's a 3-star hotel that does the job, but some things could be better. They do just enough, nobody helps with luggage, and no one seems keen to do more than required. Federico is the exception, and he makes the experience better despite the hotel's shortcomings.
