It’s about 30 minutes from the town centre, along a scenic road beside Lake Gutiérrez. There are little stalls nearby selling delicious breakfast and snack treats, plus a mountain market. The cabins are cozy and fully equipped, and the large, beautiful property gives each one its own privacy. Omar is very friendly and shared great tips for getting around town. Dreamy! ✨️ This was my second stay at Duendes del Maitén, and I’d definitely come back.

Just steps from Lake Gutiérrez, it’s a cozy, beautiful place where every detail feels considered. The prices, comfort, and quality were all excellent, and Omar was 10/10, so attentive. It looks even better in person than in the photos. A perfect place to relax. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

The cabin is spacious and super comfortable, and the beds are incredibly comfortable too. The place is beautiful, and Omar was a fantastic host, very friendly and always ready to help. We’re sincerely grateful. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect for our family getaway. We stayed in the comfortable Duende Azul cabin, which had everything we needed, and the place was clean, beautiful, and so peaceful. Omar, the owner, was always helpful and accommodating.

Eliana was always kind and ready to help us with whatever we needed, and Omar kept an eye on things too, even bringing garbage bags when we ran out. We loved staying at Cabañas del Maitén. The cabin was roomy, comfortable, and very clean, with cooking pots and utensils, so we only needed to buy oil. The bedrooms had plenty of space, and the clean sheets and towels were changed during our stay. The property is gated and feels secure, with other cabins nearby. There was just one bathroom for the four of us, so another might have been handy with a larger group, though the hot water never gave us trouble. We were very happy with the service and would love to come back. Recommended!
