Casa Ganapathi

Some rooms are very small, with space for only a double bed, and children aren't allowed. I also found it far too expensive for what it offers. The rules include no smoking or alcohol, and meat can't be cooked in the kitchen, which is available until 10 pm. There are cats and rabbits on the property. Yoga is allowed, but only as Corina, the owner, directs. She was quite intrusive, and I felt she should have been more attentive to her guests and volunteers. Ganapathi guesthouse is lovely, at kilometer 7.55 on the road to Pioneers, just inside the neighborhood. The rooms are beautiful, some with lake views, and Corina's decor and good taste make for a peaceful stay.

Naty found us a room during peak season and suggested some lovely places to see and eat. I had one of the best vacations of my life. The place has a dreamlike feel and a really special vibe, much like Corina, the owner. It's unique in the best way, and you'll fall in love with it. Thank you so much!

The staff were really attentive, but the room was unbearably hot. I booked a lake-view suite and ended up in a small room with a little window. The bathroom was uneven too, with a window beside the toilet. When I complained, they said it counted as a suite because it had its own bathroom. At $70, it wasn't worth it. They offered us another room, but by then we didn't want it. It's also a long way from the center, up steep dirt roads.

The views from the garden and rooms are amazing. It's a lovely, warm, peaceful spot, just right for relaxing and switching off.
