Hostería Sur

The rooms are small and simple, but they did the job and had everything we needed. The staff were kind and accommodating, and helped whenever we had questions or needed something.

Paid $84 for 3 nights. The private room and bathroom were clean, and the place is in the city center area. The internet was a real problem: wifi disconnected 30 seconds after connecting, three times when I tested it and timed it. Very inconvenient when you're trying to plan trips. The walls are thin. Breakfast was two pieces of toast, jam and dulce le leche, orange soda, and tea or coffee.

The hotel itself was a mess. There was fungus on the windows, the sheets smelled, the bathroom had no proper door, and the street out front was too loud. At the counter, we asked about the parking listed on booking. When we insisted, the man got angry and shouted at us. We asked to speak to his boss, but he refused. There was a parking place in the backyard, and he couldn't even tell us to park there. He doesn't understand service and escalated the situation for no reason. We told him there'd be consequences, and he said he didn't care. Never again. I don't care either, fire this dude.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I loved the place. It's right in the city center, two blocks from bus stop 20, which takes you to all the important places. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to friends and acquaintances.
