Hotel Bariloche Ski

For the low price, it was acceptable and practical for a place where we only needed to sleep. Bariloche is for sightseeing, and the hotel is close to everything. Breakfast was quite complete, though the dining room has no view. The style is old-fashioned, there’s cable TV, and only one outlet was broken. I didn’t see a fan or air conditioning, but luckily we didn’t need either. There were some problems with the room: the door didn’t close properly, the shower was just a trickle, and cleanliness could be better. The bathroom window faced another room’s terrace, so leaving it open felt inconvenient. A building was going up right behind the hotel, facing our window, and there was a lot of noise and shouting until after midnight. We didn’t complain because the staff were already busy with student groups. There’s a free, secure open-air parking lot a few blocks away.

As a graduate, I found the hotel fell short of my expectations. The menu was the only good thing. Everything else left a lot to be desired.

The location is easily the best part: right in the city center. The beds are comfortable, Wi-Fi works well, and breakfast is typical but adequate. For the price, the place is very good. I stayed a few nights, and while the room was clean, the service on the following days left a lot to be desired. The reception staff are good.

The room was fine, but the beds weren’t especially comfortable. There’s a nightclub or bar across the street, and it gets very noisy in the early hours, which is why I’m giving it only three stars. The hotel is central, but the parking lot is quite far away. Even with security guards, it feels very exposed and not especially safe for leaving a car.
