M382 Hotel Bariloche

I had a wonderful week of vacation at the M382, thank you! The reception, cleaning, and breakfast staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. At breakfast they kept checking whether we needed anything and greeted us with a "good morning," which made for a great atmosphere. The main thing I'd change is adding air conditioning to the rooms. It gets hot on some days, and you feel the heat as soon as you walk in. They gave us a fan, but it isn't the same when the room stays closed all day and the heat gets trapped inside. Other than that, everything was perfect. 💕

Reception was the one good part of the hotel, with cordial and professional service. I wouldn't come back or recommend the place. The rest left a lot to be desired, and the whole stay was terrible, just like the negative reviews I'd read beforehand. Sleep was difficult because the rooms aren't insulated and you can hear everything. There's no fan or air conditioning, so the heat was unbearable. The windows also let in bright sunlight early in the morning, making it hard to get a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was always the same, very basic, and had too little variety. The uncomfortable part was that there's no sign saying you can't take food from the breakfast area. We took just two croissants because we were leaving at 8:00 AM and wouldn't be back until 8:00 PM. It wasn't excessive. One day, staff reprimanded us rudely, saying there were security cameras and talking as though we'd committed a crime. It felt completely disproportionate and unpleasant. Meanwhile, we saw other people carrying huge Tupperware containers with sandwiches and other things, and nobody said anything to them. The breakfast staff were unfriendly and needlessly confrontational.

We felt comfortable and welcome, and the place was very clean. The location is super central, hard to beat. Breakfast was delicious and complete, served with care. Thanks for the warm, friendly reception service, especially Verónica, who I was always in contact with.
