There were lots of fruit choices at breakfast, which I loved, though I wish they offered more croissants. The staff were very friendly and helped us find our way to Buenos Aires’s main tourist spots. The hotel is quite old, and that shows in both the rooms and hallways. The second floor was always very hot and needs air conditioning.

We arrived to find that our prepaid reservation had been lost. Even with our voucher in hand, the desk clerk was haughty and acted like we were a bother. The hotel seems to cater to children’s tours, and some groups were poorly supervised. Kids running through the halls made a lot of noise, and breakfast could be a noisy ordeal when they all came in at once.

Great spot in the heart of the center, with really nice rooms and a super nice breakfast. The rooms aren’t soundproof, though. We could hear the baby next door crying at night.

There are good restaurants and nightlife nearby, and Ave. 9 de julio and Ave. Corrientes (the obelisk) aren’t very far away. The hotel has an older look mixed with modern technology. A good place to stay.

The staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there was a slightly odd smell in my room.
