The city view was nice, and the location was very convenient. The place has good facilities and works well as a temporary base for either a vacation or a business trip. It isn't the best option in the area, honestly, but it's good if you mostly come back just to sleep.

The view from the 45th floor was awesome, and being right in the centre was handy. The rest of my stay was rough: the jacuzzi had been out of order for the two months I was there, and I found three bats in my room. The heated pool worked only about half the time, the women's sauna wasn't working, and the elevators were constantly being repaired. The room insulation was so bad that it felt like wind could come in all night.

Studios on higher floors and away from Paraguay Street are quieter. The building is in a great spot, and having some kind of 24-hour front desk on the 23rd floor means problems can be sorted out. But the walls are paper-thin, internet cuts in and out, and it's not great for working. Kitchen appliances vary randomly from one studio to another. Bring towels for washing up and drying the dishes.

There was noise all day from construction, starting at 8:30 in the morning, so don't expect a good rest or sleep. The whole building also has only two laundry machines, and its three lifts aren't efficient at all.

Whenever I'm in Baires, I stay here. It's a modern building in a very central part of Microcentro, with a nice pool and gym.
