The concierge knew the tours and sights well, and even found us a trip leaving in less than an hour, with pickup at the hotel. The whole team was friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Ignacio arranged our airport pickup, which ran smoothly despite our flight delay, and Ramiro had the room ready when we arrived. He also explained the Club room benefits and my IHG Status membership. I was surprised the room was ready so soon after arrival. The public areas have the grand feel you’d expect from a prestigious Intercontinental, and the hotel meets the 5* standard I expect from them. I gave the room 4* because the wardrobe space felt inadequate, especially for what they call a superior room. Otherwise, both the room and housekeeping were just what I expect from Intercontinental.

The rooms could use some modernization and feel a little dated, though they were clean and comfortable. The service more than made up for that. Staff were attentive, warm, and professional, and the elegant shared spaces gave the hotel a pleasant, classic feel. It’s a lovely atmosphere and a really good hotel.

I keep coming back to the Intercontinental Buenos Aires, and it hasn’t let me down. The bar has a relaxed, polished feel and some of the best cocktails I’ve tried in Buenos Aires. The restaurants serve consistently delicious food with lovely presentation, and breakfast has plenty of choice and good quality. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything working properly. When I’ve needed extra towels, transport help, or anything else, it’s been sorted quickly and without hassle. From check-in to housekeeping and room service, the staff are kind and efficient, and their attention to detail makes me feel valued. They’re warm and professional from the moment I arrive. I always look forward to returning, and this is my go-to in the city for comfort and hospitality.

The hotel has plenty to keep you occupied, with a pool, gym, solarium, spa, clubs, and restaurants. I found the food good and breakfast pleasant. I didn’t spend long there, but I doubt you’d get bored. Buenos Aires is a big, safe city with plenty to explore. Rooms are spacious, with a shower and bathtub and either double or single beds. Depending on the floor, the views can be incredible. Street noise was very faint and isolated when I stayed, and the beds were clean and the bathroom ready to use. The location works well for sightseeing, near the newer area with restaurants and shops. The main avenue is also easy to reach, and from there you can get to different parts of the city center in about 20-30 min. Intercontinental hotels are usually good, and this one is too.
