Hotel Metropolitano Supara

We checked in around 22:40 and got room #209. Two men from HK checked into the neighboring room, 211, after us. From 23:20 until 2:03 the next morning, they talked and laughed loudly and moved furniture around while looking for a charger. They slammed the door five times, and once tried to open our door because they got confused about which one was theirs. I told the hotel manager, but he said nothing about it. Don't choose this room.

The location worked well, near the old city center and lots of restaurants, though it got a bit noisy at night and early in the morning when we had the windows open. The hotel appears newly built or renovated, and was clean and modern. Our room was tidy, modern, had enough storage, and included a fridge. The bathroom was roomy enough, with a large shower. Breakfast was very good, with high-quality food, and reception was helpful.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and they left soda and water in a little fridge. The front desk guy also helped us sort out some trouble with our airline tickets. It’s a nice, modern hotel that doesn’t feel too big. I took off a star because there was no coffee or tea in the room, and breakfast was almost all carbs, even if the options were nice.

The staff were friendly and knew what they were doing, and the hotel was clean, quiet, and modern. It was an exceptional bargain, too. The neighborhood wasn’t the best, though it’s near the city center and Congress. Five stars for the hotel itself, four for the location.
