10/10
The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was really good with a decent range of options. It ends at 10:30, though checkout is at 10:00. Location worked well for us: the bus stop, metro, and ferry to Uruguay were all no more than a 10-minute walk away. Some rooms have AC controlled by the front desk and only switched on at certain times. We changed to one where we could control it ourselves. The windows can be hard to open when you arrive because there's a metal shaft for privacy. The lobby isn't especially comfortable, and the old elevator stops and starts abruptly, which can be annoying.

My credit card was charged twice. I hope this gets sorted, and then I'll be happy to review again.

The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is decent. The coffee is great, though eggs cost extra. The room was about the size of a walk-in closet, so expect very little from the rooms and you'll be fine.

It's dirty and run-down, with no air conditioning or coffee facilities in the room. The power was out for two days, and the lights didn't work. The staff definitely don't speak English. It's nothing like the description online. Overrated and overstated. I'd tell people to look elsewhere first.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and they let us leave our luggage until we came back. It's a functional hotel within walking distance of the shopping area, close to both the bus station and the port.
