For 31 usd a night through booking.com, this was a steal. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, no complaints there. The real draw is the central location, within walking distance of lots of places to eat and attractions.

The service was good and the rooms were big enough, but almost every room seemed to have cigarette smoke in it. They refunded all my money without any trouble, which was great.

Getting around is easy since there's a subway entrance right across from the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi is good for a hotel, and breakfast is decent.

I spent three weeks here in November and December 2013. The location felt safe, and the price was fair for what you get. The people running the place were nice, and the metro and other transport are right outside.
