Boutique Suites Palermo

The location in the middle of Palermo is the hotel's only upside. It's very dated and run-down, with old rooms, thin walls that aren't soundproof, and constant noise. Cleaning fees are extra, not included in the stay. My room phone was broken; I told the staff on check-in day, but nobody did anything. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, and the towels were old too.

The staff deserve the biggest credit here. The front desk was very helpful, and Alejandro Carranza went out of his way to set up tours, arrange plans, and handle guest problems skillfully. The hotel is also great value, with modern design and easy access to shops, restaurants, and entertainment nearby. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

We found the room very comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent. We requested a large suite and got two rooms, one with a bed and one with a couch and two modern wing chairs. Those chairs are awkward to get out of, but comfortable once you settle in. There was also a refrigerator, a microwave, and one outlet with a universal plug adapter. The lobby isn't much to look at, but there’s a great wine shop and cafe across the street, plus plenty of good restaurants within two blocks. Daily cleaning costs extra, though the room was half the price of competing places, so that didn’t bother me. Access was good too: there’s a wheelchair ramp and an elevator, and the bathroom seemed quite accessible.

Room 30 was a real treat, especially with its own pool. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities were well cared for after long days walking around the city. The location made it easy to get to everything we wanted to see. The staff were incredibly friendly and even learned our names. I’d recommend this place to anyone I know who’s thinking of visiting Buenos Aires.
