The courtyard pool is fantastic, and there’s a terrace for snacks and wine tastings or wine by the glass. Breakfast has plenty of variety, and the staff can make eggs at no extra charge. They also offer lactose-free options and do what they can with dietary needs discussed before arrival. We slept incredibly well. The bed felt like a cloud, the shower was huge, and the room was bigger than we expected with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are very spacious, and the whole hotel is new, beautifully styled, well built, well kept, and super clean. David made check-in easy. He showed us around, explained breakfast and pool hours, and got us settled. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the main square, with restaurants nearby and several bodegas within walking distance. Free parking is available, too. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

The cellar wine tasting with Andres was amazing. It’s a great hotel, with spacious rooms and really friendly staff.

The breakfast buffet included fresh eggs, and the outside of this boutique hotel and its courtyards are beautiful. It’s around a 10-minute walk into town along quiet roads. Our main problems were inside the room. It felt quite dark, and the standard rooms look onto a courtyard without windows. Cleaning wasn’t up to scratch: the floor felt dirty and the sheets had stains. The towels were rough and fraying, and seemed very old. We could also hear a lot of noise and were woken early. The place feels new, but the service didn’t feel friendly either. One evening, as we walked in from the car park, a receptionist ran over and rudely pressed us about whether we had a reservation, even though we’d already been there all day. It could be a great hotel with better quality fresh linens, more thorough cleaning, and improved service.

The pool was fantastic, and since our bus left late on checkout day, they let us relax there. The bar was well stocked and cheaper than restaurants. We stayed two nights for my girlfriend’s birthday, taking a break from traveling in hostels. It’s central but on a quiet street, and the woman at the desk was super helpful in figuring out what to do in Cafayate. Breakfast was simple and delicious.
