We came to rest, and that’s exactly what we did. The little wooded setting is so quiet, with fresh air and birdsong. Our apartment was really comfortable, and Micaela was warm and attentive. It was very clean, too. We went with the breakfast, which was homemade and tasty, though there was far too much to finish in a day. I’d love to see some healthier choices, like toast with cream cheese, ham, or eggs, instead of so much flour-based food. Still, it was very good. There are also nearby places that deliver if you want other food. The kitchen could use a bit more equipment, but we had a lovely stay and will come back.

The cabin was quite clean, and I have no complaints about that. The setting is peaceful and great for switching off. Still, the outdoor tables were in rough shape, one pool lounger was broken, and the other ones were dirty. There was also very little grass around the property. With the facilities in that condition, we wouldn’t return.

The rooms are stocked with the basics, including air conditioning, a fridge, microwave, stove, glasses, and cutlery. Outside, the grill and brazier were spotless, and the pool was a real pleasure. You can bring your own food and drinks, or pick up anything you need at the small shop a few blocks away, including charcoal and cleaning supplies. Micaela gave clear answers whenever I had questions. One useful tip is to stick to the check-in time. I’d definitely come back.

Our Booking.com reservation still showed as confirmed, but they had cancelled it without telling us. They blamed us without checking, even though there was nothing in our email, inbox, spam, or WhatsApp. When we asked for help, the receptionist said not to bother her because she was already having a busy day. They didn’t even help us find somewhere else to stay.
