I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. They seem to take advantage of the lack of other options nearby. The rooms and beds were really ugly and uncomfortable, with torn sheets and cramped, awkward bathrooms. Taking a shower felt like squeezing into a phone booth. For what they charge, this was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Located at 1200 Calle 25 de Mayo, this hotel has an agreement with the Argentine Automobile Club and customer service. There’s wheelchair access at the entrance and wheelchair parking. The service was very good, prices were moderate, and breakfast was continental.

The afternoon receptionist was a real bright spot, very kind and helpful. The room had no fan or AC, so even mild heat felt suffocating. The bathroom was good, with hot water and clean towels, and the beds were clean too. The TV was somewhat old but still worked. Breakfast tasted good, though the buffet choices were limited. The morning receptionist and breakfast staff were incredibly rude. They didn't greet us and just gave us odd looks.

Since it was the only hotel available in Chos Malal, we ended up staying here. Parking the motorcycle right outside our room was convenient, and the place was clean and reasonably comfortable for a stop on Route 40. But the rooms had poor soundproofing, especially compared with the rest of the hotel, and ours was only a few meters from reception, so it was noisy. For standard amenities, it was among the most expensive places we stayed in Argentina. The value for money could be better.
